From the storefront we plan to open on Broadway, Three Parks members will work even harder than they did in 2012 to advance our progressive agenda. Not only will we back local candidates to represent us in City Hall, Albany, and in Congress, we can be counted on to go all out in the fall to elect our Democratic Presidential nominee. As in the past, our dedicated members, supported by an army of volunteers, will set up tables on Broadway to sell tens of thousands of campaign buttons, register voters, and distribute literature; organize phone banks; and charter buses to knock on doors in swing districts and get out the vote on Election Day. Carrying all this off costs money, and your sponsorship will help importantly in this effort.

At this year’s fundraiser, Three Parks Independent Democrats will present the Ted Weiss Public Service Award to two Manhattan City Council members: Helen Rosenthal, representing the 6th District, and Mark Levine, representing the 7th. Both have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of Upper West Siders and indeed all New Yorkers. And this year we will present the Jesse Crawford Community Service Award to the West End Preservation Society, established in 2007, which works to preserve the architectural heritage and character of the Upper West Side.

If you would like to have your name listed in the program and in the Club newsletter as a Benefactor ($500), Patron ($300) or Sponsor ($175), please respond before Thursday, March 26, 2015. Please fill out the information below and click Send. You will be taken to our payment page. Check the appropriate amount and click Donate to go to PayPal to pay by credit card. Non-member guest tickets are $150 and Club member tickets are $50. (Ticket buyers are not listed on the invitation.)

    4. Why all these steps? We need PayPal to process your credit card, but it is set up to sell you a toothbrush, and doesn't collect or give us the information we need. The information from the first step goes directly to Three Parks.
